Syncing Events

Events can be synced to the iPad from a website, via Dropbox or manually by copying files using the iPad's Files app. The quickest way to get started is to use the sample events hosted on the Breeze Systems' website:

  1. Run Breeze Booth for iPad, tap "App Settings" and check that "Events sync server:" is set to https:/breezesys.com/BreezeBooth/sync:

    App Settings Sync

Tap "Save" to save the settings

  2. Download a list of events to the iPad by tapping "Events" in the start screen and then tap "Update":

    Sync events

Please note that this downloads a list of events to the iPad but doesn't download the actual events. Tap on "< Events" to return to the Events screen.

  3. Download the files for an event by swiping right on the event in the Events screen and tapping "Sync":

    Sync an event

Please note that this downloads a list of events to the iPad but doesn't download the actual events. Tap on "< Events" to return to the Events screen.

  4. Run the event by right swiping on the event and tapping "Run"

Syncing Events from your own server

Events can be synced from any webserver that supports SSL (i.e. uses https:). To use your own server upload the event files to a suitable folder on the web server then update the events sync server URL in the "App Settings" screen. The easiest way to get started is to download the sample events from the Breeze Systems server to your iPad and then use the iPad's Files app to copy them from the Breeze Booth folder to your iCloud or Dropbox storage and then upload them to your website (see accessing Breeze Booth for iPad's files).

Syncing Events using Dropbox

Events can also be synced via Dropbox and the photos and GIFs captured by the app can be saved to Dropbox. Before using the Dropbox options please download and install the Dropbox app on your iPad (this can be downloaded from the App Store). Then go to the "App Settings" screen in Breeze Booth for iPad and tap on "Sign in to Dropbox". This will open the Dropbox app and ask whether to allow Breeze Booth for iPad access to its own folder Apps/Breeze Booth for Ipad. Tap "Allow" to allow it access:

Dropbox app permissions

This will create a folder named "Breeze Booth for iPad" in your Dropbox "Apps" folder. Select "Sync via Dropbox" in the "App Settings" screen. If you also want to save copies of photos and animated GIFs to Dropbox select "Copy output to Dropbox":
