Regenerate 16-bit TIFF thumbnails

Top  Previous  Next

Some third party raw converters do not write the thumbnails correctly when creating 16-bit TIFF images resulting in black or scrambled thumbnails being displayed in BreezeBrowser Pro. The thumbnails can be repaired by selecting them in thumbnail view, right clicking and selecting "Regenerating 16-bit TIFF thumbnails...". The main image data is read from each TIFF image and is resized and copied back to the TIFF file to replace the bad thumbnail image. This operation takes a few seconds per image  and is only performed on 16-bit TIFF images where the thumbnail is stored in the 2nd IFD.
